| Our system in now using Calc instead of excel. In my excel charts I always put the data table on the x axis. My charts look fine in OO except know the data tables are missing from them. How do I Fix? |

I don't think that Calc offers that option. The closest that Calc seems to be able to come is to insert data labels which will but the numbers at the top of the bars (See chart below). . As a rather clumsy work-around you could try pasting the chart and the values (transposed) into Draw and sticking them together there. A couple of minutes messing around gave me this. A bit more formatting would probably give something reasonably acceptable. However see my comments below re chart junk.

What's the purpose of adding the table? It seems that it just contributes to what Edward Tufte would call chart junk [1]. You are already providing the information in the bar chart itself so the table is redundant, or alternatively, you can provide the table and the chart becomes redundant. I tend to look on this layout as one of Excel's more egregious charting faults. Of course if that is what the discipline or client requires it then I suppose you need it.
