I've been reading all the posts about toolbars and it seems they produce a lot of passion!

I only have 2 toolbars open (checked on View-toolbar menu) Standard & Formatting. What I'd like to do is move both of them and dock them to the left of my document.

I like to view the document at 75% zoom and because the toolbars take up so much of the header space, I'm having to jump around a lot, and because of the way the writers made OO work, when you hit page down, it doesn't keep the line you were on, so I keep getting lost.

If I were to move the toolbars, I could see more than 1/2 page at a time.

Is there a way to doc the standard & formatting toolbars without creating a "My Toolbar" option?

Drag the toolbar to the left or right of your screen using the tiny handle on the left side.
