Is it possible to use the ‘officebean.jar’ and OOo dlls to embed a ‘Writer’ app into a Swing application WITHOUT requiring an ‘OfficeConnection’?
I would like to use the functionality of the ‘Writer’ application, without having to bind to the OOo server. |

No, I don't think so. You need at least somewhere a running OOo in listening mode.
