BASE imports very well tables from FoxPro. But I have a problem when opening a table with a memo field (-.FTP). Only 2 records of the memo are linked to many records of the main table (each time it's an error). And the fields after the Memo field are mismatched.

I open the DBF file with an hexa editor : everything seems right. It seems everything is fine with the FTP file, too (my references are http://www.clicketyclick.dk/databases/xbase/format/).

I will re-learn the structure of FTP and build an ad hoc application.

Someone had the same problem ?

Thank you !
Geuten

Please look at the link below, and, the comments by Sliderule ( yes that is yours truly Laughing ). If you are using Windows as your operating system, you might want to recreate a NEW OpenOffice database file, and, rather than using the 'default' Open Office connector to your FoxPro files, use the Windows ODBC connection.

I hope this helps, please be sure to let me / us know.
