going to report from form makes report appear static

Hi,

I have created a database with a few forms and reports and to make it easier for the end user have made a form i call 'Home' that allows all the other forms and reports to be accessed from.

The problem is when I click on of the buttons to generate a report it always displays the same info as if the report is static - but i know it isn't if you go back to the base window nd hit reports and select the report (after 3-4 minutes of thinking) the report is generated perfectly.

Does anyone have any ideas

This might answer your question without knowing the reason why the report produced from a form is static:

Always create a report from a query. I have never done anything different. It was the way I learned how to make reports.
