Installation Hassles on NT

I followed the manual advice on installation for NT. I have an NT domain with win98 workstations.
I installed to the server as per the manual. I intsalled to a folder called C:\OO, and setup permission on that folder, and also the program folder within for domain users, with full access. The installation went without hassle, but a dll could not be registered. I was forced to ignore it, and continue.

When I go to do the workstation installation, logged in with admin rights, and use run \\server1\oo\program\setup.exe, the machin does nothing. DOuble clicking on the setup.exe icon also produces no result.

Any ideas on what steps I left out, or what mistakes I could have made.
I'm using OpenOffice 1.1, and the setup guide for OpenOffice 1.1
