OOo Writer 3.1 Darn ". . Show Changes . . ?" Message !

hello forum viewers.

while editing a (previously saved) document with Record Changes 'on' (Edit > Changes > Record checked) and Show Changes 'off' (Edit > Changes > Show unchecked), OOo Writer 3.1 will prompt the user with the messagebox shown below during the course of editing the document.



the user is forced to respond to this annoying message even though Show Changes has been unchecked by the user prior to the commencement of document modification. this message is unnecessary for users who never Show Changes during document editing, and only has the effect of disrupting the user's rhythm during the editing process.

perhaps OOo developers should replace the messagebox with an ephemeral hint/tip bubble that (quickly) dissipates into the ether in the absence of a user response.

is there any way to prevent the appearance of this messagebox?
