Hello!
I've "discovered" OpenOffice 1.1 and i really like it, more than MS Word. It's really good, thank you for doing it!

I'm a romanian and there's no online good spelling checker. This is why i want to create one. When i type something in romanian, OO 1.1 makes it red, of course, but i can add it in my custom dictionary, for example "soffice [All]". I did a very large list of words and is already a better spelling checker in romanian than the current online romanian spelling checker for OO 1.1. My only problem is that the custom made dictionary is for "All" languages and... i can't save it on my HDD in a special places for use when i will reinstall open office (OO). How can I tell OO that the dictionary is ONLY for Romanian and save it on my hdd for later use?

Please answer, because i like this app much!

Hello!
I've realised that OpenOffice.org 1.1 does not support very well unicode characters in the dictionary. It replaces the special caracter with a "?". My question is: will open office 2 fully support unicode characters?

Yo may wish to go to
Tools>Options>Language setting>Writing aids

Then select the dictionary you added the words to
Then click Edit
Then in the upper part of the panel where Language is on the left select Rumanian

You may also create a new dictionary there (e.g. MyOwn) and then, after downloading Russ Phillips's Import/Export Dictionary Words macro from
http://www.ooomacros.org/user.php
you can easily edit your dictionary all along.

Hello!
OK, thamk you, this helps me a little bit.
But, still, nobody answered my last question: when I insert a word with special chracters like ş, ţ, ă,î, â OO 1.1 let's me, but when i come back to see the word, the special character is changed to "?". Will this be fixed in future releases, because I can't really do my own dictionary?

Please somebody answer.
