Open Office 1.1.1
OS: Windows XP Pro
Printer: Xerox WorkCenter 390.

I have already posted this problem with content of standard pages are condensed and printed onto 1/4 of the page. I have found out is because, in the Printer Option (Print / Options / Pages) the "Brochure" is checked. Even after I unchecked it, to allow normal printing. This state goes righ back to checked after I close it and re-open to print new pages. That it, my printer is setup be default to print brochuress.

How to set it up and keep it here as default. It does not seem a provision for this set up.

Strange problem. You might try Tools > Options > Load/Save > General and check Save user-specific settings with document. If it is already checked and you have your own default template it may have been created with borchure checked.

Just some thoughts.

Also those print options default to the values set in Tools> Options> Writer>Print. If you uncheck brochure there, you should never see the option set again.

From the HELP
The print settings defined on this tab page apply for all subsequent documents. If you want to change settings for the current document only, use the Options button in the File - Print dialog.

dfrench,
Thanks, your suggestion seems to work. It was driving me crazy.
