How to run OOo in a single process

Hi all,

we use OOo to write documents with the help of the Java API.
Now i saw in the Task Manager of Windows, that multiple processes of soffice.bin and soffice.exe were created.
Is there a way to run OOo in only one process or, alternatively, how can I clean up the processes after termination of my program?
