|
|
We use Windows 2000 and Linux and have been using OpenOffice since the StarOffice 6 Beta finished.
We would now like to dabble with Java and the SDK. Sun Studio 4 has been downloaded and installed.
How do I get OpenOffice to recognize that Java is now installed on Windows 2000.
Any help much appreciated. |

Rerun the Setup. Run the Modify portion. I believe it will ask about Java again. _________________ Scott Carr

| Unfortunately, it does not (on Linux). |

If you go to the directory where you have ?OpenOffice.org1.1" installed, then go to the "program" subdirectory and type "./jvmsetup" it will ask you where your Java Runtime is and resume setup with it (when it works).
".../OpenOffice.org.1.1/program/jvmsetup" [Linux} |
