Writer jumps back to the page with the cursor

I have a pretty annoying feature to report and hope that maybe somebody already has already found a solution for it.

Very often when I am scrolling down the document in OO Writer with the mouse wheel it would jump to the page where the text input cursor is located. I think it happens when the auto-saving is activated. It is very annoying as one has to scroll back to the place when one was before.

Is there any solution to that except deactivating the auto-saving or doing the scrolling via actually moving the cursor using the keyboard?
