We have been using OOo for some years now and have been unable to hear the music which accompanies some of the ppt, etc. files.

Now we can. This had been a great disappointment for my mother-in-law who likes to d/l and view lots of powerpoint presentations from the web. She gets lots of these from friends and has always felt at a disadvantage (it has also reflected badly on the Linux installation that we set up for her). Now she is a very happy camper.

Thanks again for all the hard work that must have gone into this particular area of powerpoint presentations.
