Hi, can an MS Word doc with tracking turned on be edited with the change tracking system of OOo? As far as I can tell, OOo just imports the changes that are marked up in a different font, and no more.

Thanks for the help!

I have used change tracking system of OOo exchanging using the Word format with word users, and I did not encounter any particular problems: changes seemed properly and fully functionally translated between Word and OOo Writer.

Hmmm. I tried importing a doc (might have been Word '97) and it just changed the font on the changes, red and strikethrough, etc. Did it actually let you accept or reject changes in OOo? Am I missing something? Thanks for the help!

Did you actually TRY to accept or reject changes to see if it does? Edit - Changes - Accept or reject.
