|
|
I want to do a Table of Contents that just lists the contents, without page numbers:
If I go to edit the Index/Table, and go to the 'Entries' tab, it has, for structure: Text, Chapter number, Text, Hyperlink Start, Text, Entry, Text, Hyperlink End, Text, Tab Stop, Text, Page number, Text. I see ways to add stuff I want to via the buttons underneath, but no way to remove Page Number. I'll want to remove the tab stop as well.
If I create a new index, and pick the Type 'Table of Contents', it automatically includes Page number, so I have the same problem, there's no button to remove it.
So, how can I create a contents without page numbers?
Edit: added [Solved] to subject.

Have to use your keyboard, I think.
In the index/table dialog, select the entry you want to remove, and push the delete key (or fn+backspace on the mac.) |

I thought I had tried that, but evidently I had not, because it worked. Thank you! |

Now if you will, go back to the top and edit your first post. Add the tag [Solved] in the subject line. It helps other users searching for similar situations, and it is also useful for helpers scanning for unsolved issues. |
