Remove German version permanently

I had been experimenting with the German version of Open Office 3.2 but have decided to return to using the English (GB) one.

I uninstalled the German version via Windows XP>Control Panel and downloaded and installed the English version.

However I still have all the menus in German!

I can only think that it is because I have installed the German language pack - or is there another reason?

To answer my own question, I removed the German language pack via Windows Control Panel and OO has reverted back to English.
