|
|
I am now on 3.2 but this was also true of 2.4.
When I make a file (usually a CALC or WRITER file) and save it, I dont get the symbol tag image that OO has. When I click on the file to re-open it makes me go via the MS "Open With" screen to search for a program that can open it - OO obviously.
Why isnt XP recognising the tags ( like .odt, .xls etc etc) and opening them straight away in Open Office?
What am I doing wrong?
cheers

| Make sure that the "Automatic Filename extension" box is checked in the save dialog. |
