Object should appear after mouseclick only

Hi all!

How do I make an object (like a group of images) appear only after I click with my mouse (or press space)? It's possible to do that in PP, can Impress do that too?

Yes, Impress does this quite well. Just select the images and go Slide Show > Effects. Then select the type of effect you want.

Thanks for the advice but that's not what I meant.

I know you can assign certain effects on objects how they appear on the slide. What I want to do is show a slide with some text and then the object (a screenshot) should appear on the same slide when I click with my mouse.
