I have used Beemer to create slides in Latex. One feature that I like is the ability to automatically create slides that show the outline of the talk and where you are by highlighting the bullet of the next slide.

Is there any equivalent for Impress?

I have been consider this very issue lately. Impress does allow for an Outline. This outline can be imported from the Word process which is really nice.

However, my problem is that it seems that every slide in the presentation must be considered as a new Level 1 topic.

I would like to have the ability to have a slide (or multiple slides) for every sublevel in the outline.

Any ideas?
