I am looking for an ubuntu panel widget that pastes what ever is in the scratchpad into a new text document. Has anyone seen such a panel button?

klipper in Kubuntu is probably what you are after but no idea in Ubuntu. sorry

I installed Klipper but the syntax for the an appropriate action is not clear to me, so I have just posted another question, this time about how to auto run a macro on startup. I created one that just pastes the content of the scratchpad.
