Bear with me here, I'm still kind of new to this whole Database and Mail Merge thing.
What I have is a Database of addresses, names, and such for invitations. In the database, I make a "Boolean (Yes/No)" column named AndFamily, so that if we wanted to include the whole family, we could check yes.
How can I put text on my labels in Writer depending on this value? I have tried putting the field in like the others, but that will print out as TRUE or FALSE, depending on the value. I expected that.
I have also tried conditional text and hidden sections based on the value, but I can't seem to get either one to work right, as they will all end up printing "and Family" no matter what I do?
Is there a way to do what I need, or am I missing something really simple here? |
