Search and Replace triggers "Search Key Not Found"

My OO 3.2 just started giving me a "search key not found" message every time I try and use the "search and replace" feature. It doesn't matter whether it's a Calc document or a Writer file. I've been using that feature for months on a Calc file without issue until today.

I'm using Microsoft Vista.

I'm working on an uncomplicated but vital spreadsheet and need to get the search and replace feature working properly again, fast.

Any advice would be appreciated!
