I'm tearing my hair out!
I have various sample database tables that I saved to a folder in my Documents. Then I deleted all but the latest one. But when i go into Writer to print labels per the OOo Help, it only shows my old database versions in the dropdown menus. What the bleep am I doing wrong?
I've wasted hours on this so far, all week, in my "spare" time.
If I were permitted to, I'd offer a reward to a knowledgable person who could walk me through the steps of getting this darn mailing list table made and printed onto labels.
In fact, going by the posts in these forums, someone who knows all this stuff could make a fortune running an online/phone consultation business doing just that. is there such a thing, by the way? _________________ Creating true freedom,

| This is a "registered data source" issue. It sounds like you need to "register" your existing database as a "data source" in Base, and while you're there go ahead and delete non-existent "registered" data sources. Open Base and use ' Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org Base > Databases > New / Delete / Edit buttons ' to make the necessary changes. |

| Or to register your DB as a data source work though File > Wizards > Address Data Source. Either should work. |
