A few days ago I installed Open Office 3.2 into a Windows XP system, and
accepted the offer to remove previous versions.
Although the shortcut for Open Office 2.4 in the Start Menu now does not go
anywhere, and Open Office 2.4 is not among the files listed by Add/Remove
Programs in the Control Panel, there is a 125Kb folder "C:\Program
Files\OpenOffice.org 2.4" containing 10 files, 13 folders.
The 10 files include 2 (unorc and Windows_x86rc) from when Open Office 3.2
was installed.
Can I safely delete the folder "C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.4", or
does Open Office 3.2 need them for some reason? |
